Its that time of the year when I can talk about my favourite movies of 2015. Its a TOP 10, so meaning I have to do the harsh thing of not including some great movies that just didn't make the list, like sending my children to the orphanage.

10. It Follows

Lets start this list off with a horror! This one was a surprise, I thought it was just gonna be a stupid horror movie but it had incredible ratings and highly recommended by my friends. So I had to check it out. And no regrets! It was definitely different (Without spoiling anything). It keeps you on your toes and just so much fun, even the movie poster, look at that! The poster like a throw back to the classic old horror movies. Now what follows after it follows?

9. Ant-Man

I think I'm at a stage where Im getting just a little bit sick of superhero movies.... Thats why I find it great when the movie is a little more different than the other 13959817 superhero movies out there. Movies like Deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy comes to mind, but since this is a 2015 list, I'm gonna have to give it to Ant-Man. His superpower is so much fun! And the main character was quite funny so that helps make this an enjoyable film. Im sorry Avengers Age of Ultron... you didn't quite make the list for me this time.

8. Goosebumps

Being a fan of the Goosebumps books, this movie was a treat, there were a few inside jokes that felt personal to me, brought me back to my childhood. It also felt like Jumanji to me. Anyways definately worth watching if you liked the classic RL Stine books!

7. Boruto The Movie

I was a massive Naruto fan when I was little (There's a reason why my dog is called Kakashi..). But I haven't caught up with any recent Naruto stuff, luckily Boruto The Movie is kinda like a reboot, I was there with a friend who doesn't know anything about Naruto and even she enjoyed the movie. So its kinda great to get back into this ninja world without having to know everything on whats happening with the anime. And the movie was great, I liked the relationship between Naruto and Boruto, the honest struggle they have to go through in this world. The idea of Boruto making mistakes and learning from it like a real kid. Its fantastic. I also like how you see the sons and daughters of Naruto characters and you recognises them, but you also get this one random person on Boruto's team and you are like who the hell are you? But you do find out in the post credits! So don't miss the post credits.

6. Jurassic World

Another soft reboot of classic stuff, I think this would be a common theme for this TOP 10... and yes I am a little bias on that level. But yeah its a great movie, it has dinosaur, the main character is likable, people get eaten. Its everything you ever wanted!

5. Inside Out

Did you know that in Japan Inside Out is called Inside Brain? GROSS. But anyways this movie was good, it was funny and once again different from the usual stuff. It felt original and it made me cry, yes any movies that can jerk a tear out of an emotionless Ry wins me over. I didn't know my tear ducts were still working till I watched this movie.

4. The Hateful 8

If Tarantino made ten movies in 2015, im sure at least 8 of them would be on my list. That man is brilliant and this time not different, every character in this movie has a story and how they all fit together is amazing to watch. Also the idea that 80% of the movie is just set in a house is intriguing. I was a bit worried cos the movie was 3 hours long, so I was worried that I might get bored or something. But it was the least boring movie ever, it was exciting. 8/10 for me. I 8 an apple today. I might eat an orange l8r. 8

3. Ex Machina

I heard good things about this movie. I watched it. I loved it. Its quite a slow movie but it makes you think and keeps you on your toes throughout, it begs the question of what it means to be a cyborg, can they be trusted? How would a human interact with them etc. Im all into these robot cyborg AI crap so this movie was special to me. Give it a watch! Its also interesting to note Poe and General Hux from Star Wars 7 are in this movie. Highly recommend!

2. Mad Max Fury Road

This movie makes me proud to be an aussie.

1. 50 Shades of Grey

This amazing movie, full of action, full of great acting, full of romance... Im kidding... the actual number one goes to.....

....

1. Star Wars The Force Awakens

Again, nostalgia won over me, always loved the Star Wars and this movie felt like fan service for me. I also like how they didn't spend too much time explaining who everyone is and their backstories and get deep and emotional. It was just purely galactic action fun! The movie poster also wins number one for me!

That wraps it up, I will do another top 10 next year for 2016 movies.

PS: Special mention to Mission Impossible Rogue Nations, Avengers Age of Ultron, Paddington, Furious 7, Pitch Perfect 2, Tomorrowland.
