Brockoli Story Part 2

You didn't think there was gonna be a part 2 did you? Neither did I, this is exactly like the ending of IT.

  The story about meeting Eric Stuart (Brock)So people said they want more info about this story I told on my status, so I thought I might as well tell it here in a proper journal. Ok so this happened last week in New Zealand, I was at a convention selling my artworks like usual, its a convention so they had celebrities and voice actors there. I knew Eric Stuart the voice actor of Seto Kaiba/Brock from Pokemon is there but I didn't have time to see him as I got a store to run.. (This happens a lot). At the end of the convention I took an uber to the airport and did some drawings there, I happened to be drawing Brockoli, you guys would've seen this abomination by now.

As I was working on the Brockoli artwork, I happened to stretch and looked up, and there it was right in front of me was Eric Stuart himself! Looking kinda lost. He was looking for his gate, I was quite shocked to see this bizarre moment but I alway

OK so with the prequel in mind that left us with a cliffhanger ending, what happened was Eric Stuart was at London Comic Con the week after, same place I was at over the weekend, I knew he was there but I couldn't leave my store to get a signature or show him the Brockoli artwork, as many of you said... Im a failure as a human being for not showing him Brockoli when I had the chance to.. So comes Sunday the last day of convention, I slammed the table hard was like OK IM GONNA DO IT!  I went to the Yugioh booth and bought myself a pretty playmat for them to sign. My friend Annabelle... oh sweet sweet Annabelle was gonna help with the store that day, she lives around an hour and a half train trip away from the con, so great! She can look after my store while I go out and line up for maybe half an hour and get my Yugioh playmat signed and give him the Brockoli masterpiece. I texted Annabelle at around 10am in the morning telling her the plan, that Eric Stuart (And Dan Green the voice actor for Yugi/Yami) will be ending their signing session at 4pm. Annabelle took two hours to reply an ok. I waited and waited and no reply from Annabelle, until it was around 3pm when she said she overslept cos she got really wasted at a party the night before..  My heart just sank.. but told her its ok and told myself its ok, I go to a lot of cons, I will probably see them again in the future. Its all good. :bademoticon: 

So the day ended, had a pretty nice weekend meeting friends and fans alike, it was time for me to pack up my art and head back to the hotel. As I was leaving, I decided to stop by the Yugioh booth one last time in hopes of some sort of miracle. And miracles do happen, there it was Eric Stuart and Dan Green just chilling there. I reopened my already packed suitcase. Took out a Brockoli artwork (I only had 2 copies left by the way, so if customers were to buy those two last ones, I wouldn't have had it!), and went over to Eric, I introduced myself and asked if he remembered me from last week, I told him I was the guy at the airport and before I could tell him the story... he said "Oh yeah, Brockoli right?" and I suddenly felt something dropped, what was it? it was.. MY JAW.  I was shocked and said "OMG you did see it!" and he said yeah he saw it on Twitter, so I then took out the Brockoli artwork and gave it to him and his eyes opened, I didn't even know Brock's eyes can open. He then turned over to Dan Green and told him the story about meeting me last week to which Dan laughed. Eric thanked me for the gift and I took a pic with him, also got Eric and Dan to sign my Yugioh playmat too. Mission accomplish!
