First, I'd hide or find somewhere to stay in. Board it up, protect it. I'd grab a weapon, and then call my friends/family while the cellphones are still up. If possible, we'd get together or I'd get them to come to my place. If they're aren't alive or contactable, well.... It's surviving on my own I guess. After I've stopped crying and bawling like a baby, I'd probably wait for the initial infection to die down and live on the food in the house (things that will expire soon, first), then I'd hit the stores and other houses.
