After truck driving, I am now doing Medical Transport and I will say, I ALWAYS wash my hands after Literally Everything! I drive people that have everything you can think of and I do not want to catch some of the things these people have or can transmit.
I am in and out of clinics and hospitals SO much, this is Habit for me now and forever. Toilet is no exception. And after: I use the paper towels and sanitizer wipes to open bathroom doors, hold door with foot and then throw towels away.
Think of all the people that do not wash their hands... in EVERY place you walk through and do and touch stuff. Then touch your private parts with all that accumulated otherpeoplehandstuff. I'd rather prevent than just touch.
For all those people washing their hands every time they have been to a bathroom, I can assure you there is more germs on the desk you return to from the bathroom than the bathroom itself. Of course I understand when you feel they are dirty or just like to clean them, but don't delude yourself in keeping germs away. On top of that, soap isn't able to kill any of those, it only takes away pieces that don't connect with water without (anything hydrophobic basically).
Always- I find it disgusting and very unappealing when people don't or "forget"... not to mention they could get all kinds of diseases if the germs on their hands get onto their food and into their systems >A<
:L Those who don't are gross in personal hygiene... Tired of getting sick when someone doesn't wash their hands. Seriously the bathroom is where most bacterias are camping out... (With all due respect to those who do not wash their hands)
