Timeless classics, love the stories for the Sonic Heroes the most. So many laughs and pure hearted moments.

Mario is better in my opinion. But Nintendo needs to build his character, and a LOT. They need to make a game with REAL story, like what they'd do with Zelda. Either that or make Link their mascot.

At least Mario knows to keep his mouth shut and not ruin his own character.

The newer one's bite... they both need to get more like the old school days when video games were the rage. But, my vote has to go to Mario~

On the other hand,
I've played some of the Mario Games and to be fair, they're really good!
But I think the most recent games are really overrated <.<

Sonic on the other hand, is finally making a comeback after so many god awful games and SEGA fired that god awful voice acting cast.. at long last.
I really like him more than ever now.

He's also way cooler than Mario sooo..

Voted Mario because BOWSER. Better villains equals better series.

And Mario Kart. And... Brawl. Those two games are the only reason for me to buy non-pokemon Nintendo things ever.

Sonic music trumps Mario music.

My favorite Sonic game is better than my my favorite Mario game.

Mario is consistent in quality, Sonic is... not.

Mario characters are better than Sonic characters.

Mario spinoffs are some of the best in their class, Sonic spinoffs are pretty meh.

Sonic had better TV shows.



In other words, I have no friggin' clue which is better.
