Yeah, I get what he is saying. I'm just saying that if my life was a book it would have multiple main characters. All of them being the people I care about most, but the book doesn't say that no one else is unimportant. If that makes sense. I guess that would make me the absolute main character though.
I'm the main character of MY own life. Everyone is the main character of his/her own personal life. There is no other option. But I'm not the main character of the story of my social group, friends, surroundings etc. There are people who are more suitable for that position than me.
I find it funny how everybody's saying nothing happens in their life. Step outside the front door, right? Writing a message on some da poll in a quiet corner of the internet isn't gonna solve that. I don't see how it's possible to not view yourself as the main character. Everything suffers your perception so even if you idolise another person it's your own appreciation of that person that exists. I think that type of proprietary nature you get from interpreting the world extends over everything, meaning you have to be focal and dominant, even if you are deluded and think otherwise.
I never got why he was so petty and arrogant as to create a species just to get more attention, he's kind of like a spoilt teenager. Guess i'm just satan's word and you've got faith though, so i'll not waste more words.
