Spoiler Dad

WARNING: The following journal entry contain spoilers to the following film, Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol and A Beautiful Mind, if you don't want the endings spoiled like what my dad did to me, please stop reading right now. However if it doesn't affect you, then go ahead and read my sad story.



Another rant journal entry, I havn't ranted for a while. But once again I'm afraid that pillows needs to be punched, floors needs to be stomped and tables needs to be flipped! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻  OK this is what happens when I watch a movie with my dad, if we both haven't seen the movie, he would remain quiet throughout the whole film, good the proper way to watch a movie, NO SPEAKING! But thats because most of the time he doesn't get the plot (His mind is always somewhere else and he doesn't get sarcasm), however if he HAS seen the movie and I haven't, then its fun fun fun, he would spoil everything, from plot twists to who lives to who dies to what happens at the end of the movie. I DON'T EVEN.... I don't understand why! Somehow he just feels the need to spoil the movie for me for some reason! :'U

I remember when my parents watched A Beautiful Mind without me, my dad loved the movie because he has never experienced (SPOILER ALERT) a movie with the concept of imaginary people before, anyway they wanted me to watch it and I did. Oh one more thing, my dad thinks that I am a hot headed guy who only likes action films and that long conversation bores me, so throughout the movie he kept telling me that there's a twist at the end and something I would've never guessed, you know just in case I fall asleep. Then guess what happens when I know there's a plot twist at the back of my mind...? Thats right, I KEPT TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE TWIST, and with my Sherlock Holmes mystery solving abilities I was able to guess the twist halfway through the freakin movie! My dad kept smiling at my mum and saying things like "Hehehe he's a phantom." "Oh is this really happening or is it fake? Mmmm? ", Ehhhh dad, give away much...? I mean I have seen Fight Club and Secret Window, so Russell Crowe being a schizo and having invisible friends was nothing new to me! >:U I asked them whether the twist is that the people ain't really there, and they were like "What? oh no.. what?", but I read their expression.. they were lying, yup I have figured out the twist T.T"

OK Just last week my dad watched Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol and really liked it, so he bought the DVD and wanted to watch it with me. Its all going fine, I was following the plot and quite enjoying the movie, Ethan Hunt's wife from the last film is dead and its because of whats his face Hawkeye's fault so thats why there was always a guilt coming from him for Ethan bla bla bla. Then out of nowhere my dad tells me that Ethan's wife is still alive..... OUT OF FREAKIN NOWHERE!! HE JUST DECIDED TO SPOIL THE ENDING FOR ME!!!! WHY DID HE DO THAT?!! I asked him 'WHYYYYY?' and he asked me 'Sorry what?' And I asked again "WHAT DID YOU HAVE TO TELL ME THAT? ALL THAT THE FILM WANTS ME TO KNOW NOW IS THAT HIS WIFE IS DEAD! THATS IT!', he then gave me the most innocent face, like a child who just broke a vase and is embarrassed by their action. He then kept saying 'Its just a typical action movie, don't need to be so serious about it.' Like as if that makes it all alright..

*Sigh*

Alright got it out of my system... now I can relax. I really do dislike people who has seen a movie before and spoils them for ya, its like YES I KNOW YOU HAVE SEEN THE FILM NOW SHUT UP. But yeah hate spoilers... Oh by the way Superman dies at the end of the upcoming Superman movie. Yup
