DID YOU KNOW? I use Photoshop to do my drawings? ITS TRUE! Im guessing people don't know about this because once a week I would have someone asking me ^^ well thats fine. Today I am gonna share with you lots my history with Photoshop, how we met, how we worked out our differences, how we bonded, and how we eventually took another step further. <3

Me and Photoshop met some time in the 2003? (Its been 10 years already?!) She was introduced to me by my cousin. At first I didn't know what to do with her, I just started playing around with photos, like adding flames on my hair, going all nuts with filters, editing clothes off of my favourite celebrities (Yeahhh I did that. Don't judge mE! ;___; ). We got along quite well, I was surprised that I could just know a few tools and do something crazy with it! I think I was using Photoshop version 7 and being quite happy with all the tools and filters I got. It was a good start

Then new versions started coming out and I moved on to a newer version called CS1. All the good tools were there, I was able to continue my good relationship with my darlin. But yeah I STILL didn't draw anything with it, I was just photo manipulating stuff like crazy. I was able to put my photo manipulation skills to good use when I worked in a Photography Studio as the Photoshop guy, the company had 2 people, me and the boss. OK the boss is a dirty old pervert, he runs a restaurant so photography is more of a hobby of his more than actual income, well not that he needs it anyway because he was rich as hell. Anyway he would take photos for the clients and I would use my Photoshop skills to make it pretty... by pretty it means making the bride's breasts bigger in wedding photos, it wasn't my idea, but my boss apparently has a thing for big breasts. In my mind I was going 'Yo not cool man... this lovely lady is getting married and we are talking about her breasts and making it bigger and stuff!'. It was also my job to clean up all the pimples on people's faces, sometimes I would get a volcano face that just makes me wanna flip 10 tables. I took care of people's pimples so much that whenever I see a pimple on someone's face in real life I would get the urge to Clone Tool it out. My boss continued to tell me stories, dirty stories about how often he goes to china and sleep with hookers, telling me how cheap and great they are and telling me I should go there. Yo I had a girlfriend, I was afraid to show him photos of her because I know what his sick mind is up to. I also caught him going to the lady toilet one day, he knows full well where the men toilet is but he came out of the ladies one.. I don't know what he was up to. I also went to church back in the day, so I was telling him about church, and he told me he wants to go to church one day too..... BECAUSE THE GIRLS THERE ARE MOSTLY VIRGINS AND MORE INNOCENT IN THE MIND TO TRICK INTO SLEEPING WITH. DUUUUUUDEEEE COME ON MAN. I eventually left the job due to studies. I did learn many new tricks with Photoshop when I worked there though, many I still use today! Come to think of it, it was a pretty nice job as I could just turn up and do things I like and get paid for it.

So what about digital drawing? Well I like drawing.. and I like Photoshop, so eventually the two has to meet! I started scanning my art into Photoshop to color. They weren't that good.. but thats when I started posting stuff onto Deviantart. I actually submitted both Photos stuff and art stuff together in the beginning.. but then I kinda got sick of my face and just posted art... and eventually the DA page has become almost 99% art. I never really got around to figuring how to draw with photoshop effectively though, I even bought a tablet because people told me thats the way to do it.. eventhough I worked better with a mouse. I was then suggested to move to another software as they told me its better for drawing.. I was introduced to Sai. I could see Photoshop's sad face looking at me as I tried my hands on Sai, I tried it for one night... and I didn't like it. So I moved back to Photoshop! We hugged and cried and exchanged kisses. And so, other than that one night stand, pretty much I have stuck with Photoshop since the beginning. Oh yeah then I was taught by my sensei Cuson on how to draw with a tablet. I tried my new learnt skills on my lady and she liked it! Hence I have been drawing with a tablet eversince, you know the rest of the tale.

I still can't believe its been freakin 10 years already? wahhh. Well I love Photoshop and she loves me. So thats that! My history with Photoshop.

Wanna see some of my early photoshop work? I logged onto my Photobucket the other day after like 1000 years and found some old stuff. It was mostly photo manipulation... Some good ones and some pretty bad ones.. some embarrassing ones and some were just strange....... like really strange... ok here we go.

Me and my friend loved Capcom vs SNK so I shopped us fighting in there. I was doing Kyo's Orochi Nagi.

I remember I took a funny photo of Kakashi lying down with his mouth opened. So I photoshopped him in Japan causing a chaos.

At one point I photoshopped myself as the Monkey King... Very strange...  oh and that pole is fake by the way.. not sure if you can tell

And I was quite obsessed with Naruto when it first came out... Pretty obvious right? I even named my dog after Naruto's sensei. So yeah.. I shopped myself as a Naruto character. This is quite embarrassing. Teenage Ry why are you so weird?

You know how I mentioned I was doing Graphic Design...? This was my attempt at Graphic Design... I just messed with filters like there's no tomorrow.. Yes I know this looks like a bunch of vomit with my face on it I know.

I had to make a postcard thing for Graphic Design.. so I photoshopped a lot of objects together to create like a Katamari feel.

Room 7 was my Xanga's page name. OH YES XANGA! I was on it lol! That was my blog back in the day.. Im not sure if you can tell but I used a mouse for this. Hence its so edgy looking.

This is one of the good ones. Not too much edit, keeping it original looking. Ry Pistol was my name for like a couple of weeks before I switched to Ry-Spirit. And notice the logo looks different from today. And yeah you are looking at an 18 years old Ry. A little punkass teenager.

This is kinda like my first attempt at coloring another person's linework using Photoshop, I was coloring nabari 's lines. Its not bad for first attempt right?

THE END. Oh before I forget, you know how in Photoshop you can only undo up to 20 times? Yeah? WELL GUESS WHAT! IT CAN ACTUALLY UNDO UP TO 1000 times! I only found this out today and I was like 'OMGGGGG MY LIFE PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED' here's the link hotcookingmama.tumblr.com/post…
