Ok, Ryght, so, around 10 years ago I had a Japanese friend back in High School. He was over as an exchange student for a few months. When he arRyved, we anime lovers kinda heard the news and wanted to check him out.. cos me and my friends were kinda obsessed with Japanese stuff. Somtimes we would even speak gibberish Japanese to be more cool. So anyway I heard about this Japanese fella called Tomoo, he was a year below us and I really wanted to meet him but had no idea how... I have never made friends with a Japanese person before and was kinda nervous, so I just kinda brushed it off. Then one day.. my friend Ming somehow made friends with him and introduced Tomoo to me. I was shaking.. I was sweating.. I didn't know whether I should shake his hands or high 5 or hug or what... At the end I chose to bow, well thats what Japanese do right? So I bowed, I remember bowing and felt stupid after. IreallyhadnoideahowtogreetpeopleandIstilldon't. So eventually we started talking and we became friends, since I live like 3 minutes away from the school he would sometimes come back to my place and play videogames, I remember playing Japanese version Kingdom Hearts with him and asking him what the characters are saying XD We would also watch um.. well we would google.. well we talked about this adult star called Sora Aoi and we started googling.. FINE WE WERE WATCHING PORN OK. It was fantastic having Tomoo around, me and my friends would watch his every move and question if thats what Japanese people do. "Wow he just put eye dropper in his eyes, is that what Japanese people do? woahhh..". "Oh wow he just took off his shirt cos he was warm, is this what Japanese people do?? woahhh" It was a lovely time, but then Tomoo had to leave back to Japan, I remember going to city with him for a final hang out, we took a sticker photo together just me and him, he then told me in Japan only girls take sticker photos. I still laughed at that. And so... the time has come.. he left. Back then Mr Zuckerberg hasn't invented Facebook yet, and Arceus knows why I didn't take down Tomoo's phone number or email. So we just.. lost touch..

After Tomoo's departure, me and my friend Ming would talk about Tomoo somtimes. We would be like "I wonder what Tomoo is doing now." "Does he still remember us?" "Is he still alive?" Its funny how much we talk about him so much eventhough we only met him for a few months XD Like just a few weeks ago we were trying to google him, but what sucks is we FORGOT HIS LAST NAME (fail) so no luck finding him. BUT THEN a few days ago.. Something crazy happened. Ming sent me a message saying he found Tomoo on Facebook, so happen we had a friend in common who went to Japan and met Tomoo and took some photos together. Anyway I dived towards the computer in slow motion, my hands shaking, my heart pounding. And yes there he was. Tomoo on Facebook, he looked exactly the same as how I remembered him (Asians dont age I dont think). It was so magical, it felt a bit like someone died for 10 years and then resurrected to life. So without hesitation I sent him a message asking if he remembers who I was, I REALLY was scared he forgot about me.. I mean its been 10 years.. sure I was a friend to him, but from memory, many people wanted to be his friend cos he was Japanese (He probably still is Japanese now I think about it). And he replied, saying he remembers me and so happy we found each other again. I almost exploded in tears. We then talked about what we did for 10 years, I told him about my life as the leader of the Ryceballs and he told me he became a Policeman after he went back to Japan, but now quit his job to become an english teacher. He told me if I go to Osaka we gotta meet up. I then dug through my memory box and found that sticker photo I took with him and showed him. He laughed and said we looked so young back then.

This is a pic of me 10 years ago by the way, we decided to pick the MANLIEST background we could find to make it less awkward. I also know it doens't look like I aged much, shush. Anyway this concludes the story of how I found my Japanese friend whom I haven't spoken to for 10 years. ^^ I was really really happy hearing from him again, it felt so surRyeal.
