Whats up guys, before I start talking about Wii U, just a quick update on what happened yesterday. I had to go to the Rocks to sell my artworks, the event was outdoors and silly me didn't think of that, so it was hot as hell and my trip to the place was tiring as F, I should've driven.. and when I opened my store it was really windy.... at one point it even started raining, but we had a shelter so it wasn't that bad, business was quiet as there were a lot less people than expected. My fund towards the RINOAWUF (Ry in need of a Wii U Foundation) didn't work out too well, but I got a Wii U anyway, however ONE incident made everything better. For those who just wanna hear about the Wii U, skip to the next paragraph, for those who are bored enough to listen to my idol story, stick around. Right, so I looked over to other stores and saw a guy with a hat pulled down low, he was buying rings from my next store neighbour, I took a longer look and realised he was someone I admired for like over 15 years. He is a famous Hong Kong stand up comedian/actor called Dayo Wong, very funny guy and I have liked him for years because his shows always had a strong philosophical message behind them. Actually I have been stealing his jokes and incorporating them into my DA journals for years (Sorry guys! lol), anyway he was over in Sydney to do a Stand up show and so happened to be shopping in The Rocks, so I literally ran away from my store and tapped him on the shoulder and I asked him for a photo, he seemed really shocked and he looked around a bit and said 'Ok come this way so there's less people.', lol he was scared more people will come over for his autograph and photo, but he must've forgotten this is Sydney and not TOO many people from Hong Kong are there, if he was in Hong Kong then definately, cos I think pretty much everyone knows him there, anyway I insisted we need to go back to my store because its unmanned. So we did, and we took a photo and he saw my work and said 'Oh so this is your store? Ah thats very good.' I also asked if he was having fun shopping by himself and he smiled, it felt very strange because I have seen so much of his shows on DVD and VCD (If you know what a VCD is, you must be Chinese), even the 15 year olds one that newer fans haven't heard about, so I was kinda able to talk to him casually like a friend, eventhough he had no idea who I was. I also told him I went to his stand up show in Sydney last year and he nodded and smiled and walked off. My hands were literally shaking afterwards, what in the random my favourite Hong Kong actor just took a photo with me in front of my store? It was pretty crazy man.

After that I went home and got my hands on the Wii U... ok I lied, I got my hands on the Wii U before I went to sell my artworks, but then the update took over an hour lol. If you read the news, Nintendo's President Iwata actually apologized for the long update publicly, he said 'we are sorry that you can't just buy the console and play it straight away' or something like that. Oh by the way, that 4gb update was a mistake, people were saying that you need to download a 4gb update and its half the size of the White Wii U... well the truth is its more like 1gb, so 1/8gb isn't that bad I guess. I ended up getting the black 32 gb one anyway, so I played around with it a little bit, made a few Miis. You can import your Mii from your original Wii over if you like but I chose to start all new with new characters, I also didn't create a Ry character because you can't give blue hair or top hat to Miis (FIX IT NINTENDO), and if I base the Mii on my face, then it will just be a boring black hair asian guy, so instead... I turned myself into a Princess! (As you do) My main character is blonde hair blue eyes pink dress princess called PrincessRy. :I Interesting I got a lot of friend requests from random guys after they saw my character... Be prepared to be shocked when I lift up my skirt to reveal a pair of pokeballs!

Lets talk MiiVerse. Its a place where you can interact with other people's Mii, Im not so much about making new friends but more about showing my drawings publicly, I fell in love with drawing random things on the tablet lol. Only problem is you can't draw anything too rude or offensive, and also you must not give your personal details out publicly (obviously), well on my character comment I wrote 'Hi my name is Ry-Spirit, for more artworks you can also follow me on DA, Facebook fanpage and Tumblr.', thats fare right? There's only so much you can draw with a small tablet that has limited functions, so if you want some proper art you visit me on these sites. Well guess what?! The Nintendo admin must've read that and thought, oh gosh this silly blonde hair girl is giving out her personal details away, Now pedobears can stalk her facebook and might ask her out and she will get raped and murdered, we are gonna protect her so we are gonna ban some of her functions. LOL, 15 minutes into MiiVerse and my character gets banned. I think they prevented me from making new friends or something until I change my personal comment and reply to the admin with an apology haha.

So I mentioned you can make friends on Wii U right? I discovered that there's two ways of doing this, first way is to do it through MiiVerse where you search for a username and you follow that person, NOW THIS WAY IS ONLY FOR FOLLOWING... meaning you can follow their comments or drawing but you guys are not technically friends, so you can't play games with the person or whatever, you can follow up to 1000 people. The second way is the proper way to do it, where you add a friend, BUT the friend has to add you as well. If one party adds and the other party did nothing, nothing will happen. But here's the problem... YOU CAN ONLY HAVE A LIMIT OF 100 FRIENDS. Ok what the hell? The average modern teenager surely has more than 100 friends! Especially in the day of technology where you can make online friends so easily! 100 friends come on. So far I have added two randoms who wanted to be my friend, but I might later have to get rid of them to make room for actual people I know. And for DA people who wanted to be my friend, I'm sorry guys... you can follow me I guess. But I gota save that limited 100 friends space for other people. :( Yeah I'm sad too, Nintendo Wii U ladies and Gentleman.

Lets talk games. I played a little bit of Nintendo Land, the game is alright... its not deep but it isn't supposed to be, you do get coins out of it that you can use to buy attractions for the empty theme park, its a neat concept and I'm sure it will get addictive trying to make the whole carnival pretty looking, anyway I am saving it for when my friends come over since its more like a party game. Oh by the way I got Scribblenauts Unlimited, Mario Brothers Wii U, ZombiU and Nintendo Land. So the next game I tried was Scribblenauts Unlimited, I loved Scribblenauts 1 on DS, but never played 2. BUT OH BOY OH BOY THIS GAME IS HELL LOT OF FUN! For those who don't know, its a game where you need to think of ways to solve problems. And you can really get creative in the game because there are multiple ways of completing a task, the selling point is you can create almost any object/characters you can think of not including copyrighted characters (except for a few like Mario and Link and Yoshi etc) to help you on your task. For example you need to rescue a cat from a tree, so you can type in 'Ladder' for example and a ladder will appear for you to climb up it and rescue the cat, or you can be creative and type 'Fishing rod' so you can fish the cat of the tree lol, I wrote 'jetpack' and flew up there to save the poor thing. In the DS game you can only use Maxwell the main character, in this game you can use his many brothers or even CREATE YOUR OWN FREAKIN CHARACTER. I was shocked by how much you can do, I messed around for ages and managed to make Ry and Greenbear! Yo check out the picture below, I was happy as hell that I could use myself to play the rest of the game! You can also customize your own items and share it in your virtual store, I made a pink unicorn and Donkey Dong and a Dinosaur with a crown as well as a skeleton monster that I named 'Your Mum'. I then made my way to other people's store to see what they got, I found a guy who made different kind of Bazookas, he had a Bazooka with monkeys attached on it that jumps away when you try to pick it up, he had a cow bazooka that shoots out exploding cows, I downloaded it and the gun was so awesome it even makes moooo sounds when you fire! I just fell in love with the series all over again man, the humour in the game is also so top notch, there was a task where you had to feed people different type of food depending on who they are, so there was a vampire who wanted something new so I gave him Tomato Juice, there was a starving robot so I gave him metal to eat, then there was a cannibal and I was like Oh nooo seriously? So I created a girl and surely she got eaten! And thats the way to complete the task lol. I was like did I just feed a real life human being to a cannibal to complete a stage? Oh also a tip I discovered randomly, if you wanna enlarge any characters, feed them Mario Mushroom! And if you wanna walk faster across the stage as well as be invincible, use a Star power.

But man is the game fun.. and before you know it, hours has passed. Mainly because I spent a lot of time customizing stuff and checking out people's creations, I love seeing people using their creativity and humour to great use. And that game allows you to use it. OK so that's it for the Wii U for now, I think the Wii U pad's battery life could've been longer maybe? I used it for 3 hours before the red light started flashing.. But I did put it on full volume so I dunno... But yeah for me so far the Wii U is hell lot of fun! Good for non hardcore gamer like myself I guess. But then again, what IS hardcore? If its simply about putting lots of time into a certain game then I surely have done that! If its about playing more mature and adult theme games then I probably can't call myself that... I guess I just like games that makes me laugh.

Me and Dayo Wong, I have been stealing his jokes on my journal for years.

Random drawing for the Mario Bros Wii U community.

For the ZombiU community. *wink* its a trap ;)

My joke for the Nintendo Land robot.. trust me it could've been much much worse XD But I gota think of the children.

Batman was doing fine without the Armour.. so its kinda like what the hell? Anyway Batman is unhappy too

I actually have played ME1 and 2 lol. But you know me, I'm a troll :icontrollfaceplz:

BEST F*CKIN GAME EVER

Couldn't help myself

Its so cool this time in Scribblenauts you can make Nintendo copyrighted characters too, I could also make Bowser and Ganondorf, but if I do they would be trying to kill each other! Its so cool to see them interact with each other you know. Oh also when Link fights, he makes Link noises!

This is my shop in Scribblenauts. Ry-Spirit House of Fun. The skeleton monster's name is Your Mum, and if you get close she would punch you, lol its a bit of a trap really.

Holy! You just met my idol! XD So basically I have never really read any of your journals before this but I just happened to stumble upon this article and.... Lucky you... I'm gonna just go read your other journals soon since you kind of... um, promised me some humor by saying you took some of his humor to your journals? :P you're so lucky to be able to meet him and watch his standups, I've only watched them on YouTube. I know this is a late comment but if you're reading this then... you know he won Best Actor this year right? So happy for him... :D
