You guys like story yeah? Let uncle Ry tell you a story, there's a lesson to learn here kids. Pay attention. I wanna talk about this now because last week was my birthday and it reminded me of this story, its related to a birthday gift. The gift was Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii. This story happened a few years ago.

This is a picture of me playing the Nintendo Wii, I love my Wii. Had lots of great times on it playing games like Smash Brothers and Mario Kart and Twilight Princess, and a game I really loved called Super Mario Galaxy. The story takes place around 2009? A couple of years after the Wii came out. So one day a friend of mine Matt messaged me telling me he got a Wii, I thought great, about time he got a Wii. So I congratulated him, then he asked the question. :I He asked whether he can borrow some games and I was like 'HMMMMMMMM SHIT'. Well Matt is a nice guy, pretty honest and pretty generous. I usually am pretty generous too but when it comes to games, I hate lending it out to people. Because:

1)They might lose it.
2)They might scratch the disc.
3)I might forget to ask for it back knowing my potato brain memory.
So I pretended to be nice and asked him which game he wanted to borrow. He says Super Mario Galaxy, to which I thought 'DANG IT! I really like that game and dont wanna lend it out!'. So I had to come up with some excuse... what should I say...? And then I remembered something about that game, it was a gift for my birthday! YEAH there you go! I will just tell him its a gift and has sentimental value so I won't lend out that game for that reason. I wasn't lying either! To which I thought 'SMART THINKING RY!'. So I put on a sad face and said to Matt "yeah... look im sorry man.. the thing about super mario galaxy is that.. well it was a gift for my birthday. and so this game has more sentimental value than anything, something a friend bought for me with their own hard earned money. Showing their love for me, and I love them too. i treasure it so much that everytime play it I think of them. its not that I don't trust you but its just that this game is our symbolic testimony of our eternal friendship. So sorry man I can't lend you this game".. to which I thought to myself "NAILED IT!":icontuzkiyesplz:

Matt didn't reply me for a bit, I thought maybe he was disappointed or something, then he replied saying "I was that friend who bought you Super Mario Galaxy for your birthday.".

.....

SHHHHIIIIT! I totally forgot Matt was the friend who gave me that game! :iconsobbplz: OMG RY VALUE MY FRIEND'S FRIENDSHIP MY BUTT! At that point I just wanted to find a rock and hide under it. You have no idea how embarrassed I was. And then he said "Yeah don't worry about it :) I will buy the game myself, its not too expensive." ......... Dude I felt bad. I was horyble. :I

So there you go kids. Don't lie. Be generous. And most importantly remember who gave you what presents. Don't be a douche bag. Dont be like me. I learnt it the hard way.

aww!! Well, it still does technically show you value friendship, and I don't think there's anything wrong with not wanting to lend out games. It's like how my cousin won't lend me certain books, because she loves them too much XD
Though after that, then you should've been like, oh yeah, you did! Don't worry about it then and here's the game /hands game over and nothing ever happened
