There is so much unexpected emotion in this piece.
Your Pokemon has fainted and there's no way to heal him. I can't imagine that there's anything that could be more stressful to a trainer than being unable to help your partner. And, if this theory is correct (albeit non-canon, at least on the forefront), not being able to heal your fainted Pokemon can have serious consequences. On the SS Anne, you defeat your rival once again and this time he is unable to access a Pokemon center. The next time you see him, he is at the Pokemon Tower, mourning the death of a dear Pokemon. You battle him once more, but this time his Ratticate is gone. Who is to say that you didn't kill it? Who is to say that isn't the fate of battered and bruised Pokemon, unable to regain their HP? Just food for thought.
Also, oh my god I love your style and your shading and your lineart and your brushstrokes and everything ahhhh
Hey Ry, just thought you'd like to know that your picture was posted on Facebook on Brock Obama's page. [link] Not only that, I noticed the bottom part where you had signed it had been cut out of the picture. I left a post directing people to your page, but I thought you might like to know about it so you could act on it yourself if you so choose. Just thought you'd like to know.
Aww, so sad. I feel really sorry for Ash and his poor Ampharos. Kinda have a soft spot for Ampharos anyway as it was my fav electric type in Gen 2. Very nice pic though, love the color and textures and all.
Hahahahahahahhahhahahah!Oh noooo. I don't know why but as soon as I saw this I burst into laughter. It is sad though. By the way, you are simply great, I love your stuff. I am definitely watching you from now on.
